About Evrobalkani
Evrobalkani is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to advancing socio-economic development across Bulgaria, the Western Balkans, and Southern and Eastern Europe. We work closely with European Union (EU) and international financial institution (IFI) funding instruments and programmes.
We support public institutions, civil society organisations, and businesses in accessing, designing, and implementing EU- and IFI-funded initiatives that drive inclusive economic growth, enhance competitiveness, and foster regional integration.
Founded in 2004 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Evrobalkani was established to support institutions and stakeholders navigating EU pre-accession, cohesion, and international development funding. Over time, the organization evolved into a platform providing policy, economic, and technical expertise across Bulgaria and South-Eastern Europe, while actively engaging in EU programmes, IFI-funded initiatives, and cross-border cooperation frameworks. Evrobalkani combines strong regional roots with an outward-looking perspective, reflecting its long-standing engagement with European integration processes and international partnerships.
